Chairman, Chennai Port Trust had meeting with Governor and other officials of Ranong province Thailand on 25.09.2019 to explore the possibility of increasing logistics connectivity between the State of Tamil Nadu and the Kingdom of Thailand.

73rd Independence Day was celebrated in Chennai Port Trust on 15.08.2019. Shri P. Raveendran, IRTS, Chairman hoisted the National Flag, Inspected Guard of Honour and addressed the gathering.

Chennai Port Trust signed the Memorandum of Agreement with M/S. KIA Motors India Ltd, Korean automaker along with their Logistic Partners M/s. Glovis India Anantpur Pvt Ltd on 05.09.2019 for export of cars made in India through Chennai Port.
